Habeeb Rahman YP is a media professional and researcher based in Malappuram, Kerala. After five years of teaching in the field of media and communication, he is now pursuing his doctoral research at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, University of Calicut. He is a FactShala India Media and Information Literacy Project trainer, funded by Google News Initiative. Under this project, he has been conducting media literacy training for various communities since 2020. He is also working as a fact-checker for NewsMeter Malayalam, an IFCN recognised Fact-checking portal.
